I want to show you the different ways that you can make money with your blog. A Blog is a shorter name for “Weblog” and it is simply a website that you can get for free and use for various things.

You can use it for Internet marketing – which means selling products as an affiliate marketer and to make money from visitors clicking on ads that they are interested in: like ads revenue from  Google Adsense, Bidvertiser or FairadsNetwork.

You can get a free blog from Blogger.com. They are owned and operated by Google. If you have a Gmail account or a Google Account, you can use the same login name and password that you use to log in to your Google Account so you don’t have to create a new account at Blogger.com

For Example: If you are in the health and fitness niche, you might want to choose names like “fitness4u.Blogspot.com” or “besthealth.blogspot.com” because the term “health fitness” is a very popular search term and brings up 823,000 results for one month.

One of the quickest and easiest way to make money with a weblog, is with this simple formula: RBS + AL + AM + T = $$$.

Let me explain what this formula is:

RBS = “A Review Blog Site” – This is a blog that you create at Blogger.com and you will use it to post product reviews, about products that you are promoting as an affiliate.

AL = “Affiliate Links” – At the end of your product review, you simply include your affiliate link to the product you just reviewed so that visitors can click on your affiliate link and be directed to the product site, and if the purchase the product you will earn a commission from the sale.  

AM = “Article Marketing” – By writing articles or getting someone else to write them, you can generate high quality, targeted traffic too your blog.

T = “Traffic” – This is the high quality targeted traffic you will receive from your articles, as well as people who are searching Blogger.com for blogs in your niche. The more popular a market you choose, the more traffic you will be more likely receive.

It has a few features that Word Press doesn’t have, like the ability to create an ezine from your posts and send them as email. You can use a cron job to automate the process, and you can send out your ezine when you want it to go out. This is especially helpful if you want to build a list of subscribers.

It’s allowed me to combine two tasks: blogging and ezine creation.

There’s an extensive collection of plugins you can use to customize your blog, as well as a theme system. The only drawback here is the lack of themes. However, new themes are being designed, and it’s pretty easy to design your own, or customize one of the theme available.

Code is search engine friendly, and you can use plugins to create a Google Sitemap, add keywords, as well as technorati tags. You can also create multiple blogs from one installation.

But the key is the blog itself. As you build your list, all you need to do is drive people BACK to your blog where you share stuff about yourself. (or even an affiliate product that you’re selling on the blog) I love blogs because they’re so personal, intimate and honest. You can be yourself. And people BUY (and believe) authenticity much more than a silly sequence of sales letters and boilerplate online marketing hyperbole.

If you don’t have money for PPC? Use other broadcast “bully pulpits” like Twitter to augment your offers, and drive traffic to your blog.
